Turn from evil and eat healthily.

Are you tired?  Do you need more energy?  There are a number of potential reasons for this.  The word of God has the best answer.  "My son, give attention to my words;  Incline your ear to my sayings.  Do not let them depart from your eyes;  Keep them in the midst of your heart;  For they are life to those who find them and health to all their flesh."-Proverbs 4:20-22.  Verse 23 tells us what the writer means:  Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it spring the issues of life.  Put away from you a deceitful mouth and put perverse lips far from you.

Doing the right thing in the eyes of God is the best way to stay healthy, but this God also gave the people dietary practices to be healthy.  The book of Daniel gives us a good example of the results of eating healthy (Daniel 1).  Daniel was in a foreign land with his brothers and was given rich food to eat and didn't wish to defile himself by eating it.  He requested vegetables and water for 10 days.  After the 10 days, he and others looked better and were sharper in their minds than everyone else in the kingdom.

Let us not just be God-fearing in our minds and actions, but let us also take care of our bodies in order to feel great, look great and be sharp in our wits.  Eat a wide variety of raw vegetables and fruits.  (mostly veggies)
