Jesus made all foods clean.

Jesus made all foods clean, but is what your eating really considered food?  I don't think so.  I can't even pronounce the chemicals found in many processed foods.  If your constantly eating these things, your constantly putting stuff in your body that is not food.  Now, I will be the first to admit, that I too am guilty of eating these things.  I guess my desire for junk food, at times outweighs my concern for how I am going to feel physically.  Here's a good example:  If you have a smoker's cough from cigarettes and it goes away when I minister healing to you, I guarantee you, it's going to come back, if you continue smoking.  Why?  Isn't it obvious.  God's healing power does not come to you so that you can continue doing whatever you want.  It comes to you because he loves you and also to get your attention.  Stop smoking cigarettes.  The same applies to all the junk we consume.  If your skin doesn't look clear, stop eating snacks that are loaded with high fructose corn syrup and all the other unpronounceable chemicals.

  2. The meaning of the scripture in Acts 10:15, 'Do not call anything impure that God has made clean' was not referring to our health. So engraved was the observance of the law on what was clean and unclean that Peter refused to obey immediately. Jesus had already laid the groundwork for setting aside the laws of clean and unclean food in Matthew 15:11. So then, this vision clarified the position that to be saved it wasn't based on what you ate as in the law of unclean and clean. Salvation was by faith alone in Jesus Christ, and did not depend on observances of certain laws. xx
So then it matters a great deal what we eat to keep ourselves fit and healthy.
